Anybody have or have used these thinking about the 8x42s being I'll be hunting timber mostly

Cabelas has the 8x42 and 10x42 on sale for $89 & $99. I realize these are not a $500 set of binos, but are they worth $100? Ive got gift cards that I can't seem to find anything else to blow on.

I really like a lot of Vortex products, but not the crossfire binoculars. You would be better served with Leupold Yosemite 8x30s in that pricerange.

Might want to wait till the Banquet . No optics will be there but we will have a FHF Gear bino case with a Brunton certificate. Since I haven't personally looked I won't say what discount % is but could be a great deal and good for any of their optics.
