I've got a Vortex Summit SS and am looking for a second plate to use on a spotter. My buddy has the same tripod and has been constantly complaining about his QR plate loosening on his spotter. Does anyone have any tips so I can avoid that? I'm hoping to have two plates, one with an Outdoorsman and one with a 65mm spotter that I haven't bought yet. Are there other replacement plate brands I should look into or just use a lock washer between my Outdoorsman/spotter and plate?
