Brand new, in the box, never opened. I sent in a damaged 12x50 Viper to Vortex, they replaced them with a new bino. I have upgraded to the 12x50 Razor UHD, so I don't need these. How much difference do you notice between these Vipers and the Razor UHD’s?

The UHDs are pretty incredible, to my eyes. There's nothing wrong with the Vipers, great glass, for the price..... but you're talking about $1000 difference, and there is definitely a difference. The Viper line will do 90% of what the UHD will do.... that 10% is where the extra $1k comes in. I'm fortunate to be able to own UHDs, but would not feel "handicapped" with the Vipers, not at all. My next bino will be the 8x42 UHD. My current go to 8 is Viper 8x42, and they are great glass, and my "go to" general purpose bino. I just like 8s overall.

People are right, you do take a beating on resale for Vortex. There are serious optics snobs out there who will always look down their noses at Vortex vs "Big 3".... I'm the type that seriously doesn't care. Vortex is great glass for the $$$, and the UHD line will rival Big 3 glass... also, realize this... Vortex rewards the guys who sell their products. I can't afford the glass I currently own.
