How packed down do these go Kyle? I was looking to get a wall tent and was curious how much space they take up.
The wall tent? The redcliff? Or the Courthouse?

I don't have the courthouse, it is being made. I will take pics of the other two when I get home if that's what you are asking about?

Wall tent 100%

Have the traditional poles like the other guy on the thread and I can set mine up in 15-20 mins solo. I have mine in a big Rubbermaid tote as well - takes up next to no space in the garage as I can stack stuff on top of it when not in use.

The only reason I’d go with a tipi over a wall tent would be for weight or space concerns. If you’re packing in, or trying to drive cross country for a hunting trip and want to fit everything in the bed of your truck a tipi would be an advantage there.

I really liked my alaknak. I could set it up fast and the space was plenty. The thing I liked over a wall tent was drying it. Bring it home, put a box fan in the door or stove hole and it inflates like a bouncy house. A few hours later its bone dry. If the room wasn't as big as the tent....it just conforms to the space.

My 12x14 wall tent is a 7oz shelter duck; so it is 30% lighter than the typical 10oz and rolls up about half as small due to the weave difference and material weight. I can keep my floor in my tent bag, which makes that bag about 75lbs. My 14x16 is at my parents and is significantly higher being a larger size and 10oz army duck. Poles standing upright and stove next to tent bag on bottom shelf.

The redcliff is loosely stuffed in the bag, next to it are the sxl stove and the pole/stakes.

2.5gal water for size reference.
