Heavy weight merino wool with a good sock liner have gotten me down into the single digits. You gotta have the right insulated boots though as others have said. Something with a big toe box to let you feet breath a bit more.

What’s the warmest sock when sitting in the bitter cold in a tree stand??

I just ordered a few common ones to test.

darn tough
Smart wool

is the higher percentage of merino the warmer?
Another idea for warmer feet is to put something under your feet so that the cold metal or your stand is not transferring to your boots and feet.

Deodorant works for me
Just to clarify, antiperspirant, not deodorant (unless it is actually an antiperspirant deodorant).
Anything with Aluminium chlorohydrate and aluminium-zirconium tetrachlorohydrate gly.

Antiperspirant literally plugs up your sweat glands. Dry feet = warm feet.

I use unscented antiperspirant spray on my feet to keep from sweating and use battery powered heated socks. Best thing I ever bought for hunting. Have 2 pairs of these and bought my hunting buddies a pair for christmas a couple years ago. No complaints from any of us.

Antiperspirant works, don’t get sweaty or change socks once you get to stand works, and a boot that’s too big helps too. Air gap is a great insulator in your boots
