Well its been awhile since I really go to get out and spend some time in the woods. Justin and I's Spring Bear hunt (http://www.rokslide.com/forums/showthread.php?29784-Justin-amp-Brocks-Spring-Bear-Hunt) was the last time I believe. Anyway, I headed up into the WA high country in search of some Mule Deer for mine and Pauls (OBP) upcoming hunt. Normally Justin would be coming along (its actually his and Dirtytough spot) but they drew some pretty sweet Elk tags and will be on that hunt.

Here is a short video I put together. Be sure to watch in HD

Hope you enjoy the photos!

The berries were coming in strong already. Bear hunting should be good in early August!

I ran my supertarp like normal with my OR bug bivy. Also used the new AMR. Love that pack more and more each time I use it.

I am really digging the new Corrugate guide pant from FirstLite. This was my first trip with them. It was in the high 80's and I was still comfortable.

The Maven B2's 11x45 are fricken stud. I wish I would have picked these up sooner.

That typhon pack is awesome. Looks like cool country and that's a killer buck. Good luck!
