REI had a black pair I was intested in but they were black.

Kuiu makes a fairly waterproof pair, this will be my second season on them. Been fairly happy with them.

I have tried a variety of gloves over the years and never found one that worked in the rain and sleet/snow. Plenty of great waterproof gloves that work in the winter but they just can't hang in there when it starts to rain.

I would second what DRthorton said as a hedge. I would equate them with Ski gloves but better dexterity.

THIS is a truly WATERPROOF glove

Kinda like boots. You can have Water proof rubber boots, or hiking boots with "waterproof" liners.

the youngstown have met my needs and for $35 bucks I think I'm getting my money's worth.
