WTS Weatherby Factory Backcountry Stock - 8 oz lighter than standard B&C - Vanguard/Howa 1500 LA

Bought and sold lots here no issues, on the 24hrCampfire since 2005 no issues. Will take PP FF, or check/pmo wait till the clear.

Will post some pics in a bit. This is rare, in that you can only get it on a Weatherby factory Back country rifle, stock. It is made by B&C and has the full length aluminum bedding block but it weighs in at a very light 26 ozs, versus 34 -36 for the standard B&C medalist for these. I am told they use more carbon fiber in the stock than the standard one.

Stock was factory weatherby marked pachmayr decelator pad and is in great shape. It had two small chips out of the bottom of the pistol grip on each side, I repaired them with a Mcmillan fiberglass repair kit. The repair is good as factory strong, was planning to repaint this stock but a great deal on a MCM edge for my gun.

Hard to find stock that is very stiff and shaves half a pound of your gun.

Fits Howa 1500/Vanguard LA with the #1 or #2 barrel contour.

Cool deal there. If it was a short action I'd consider buying a Howa barreled action just to drop in it.
