WeBoost Drive Reach reviews?

Have a trip to west Texas coming up and I know cell service is minimal. Wondering if anyone has used the WeBoost Drive Reach and their thoughts to decide if it's worth the money. Thanks in advance.

I have one and it works ok..... havent really tested it in really dispersed areas, just using the magnetic shark fin and not the OTR whip yet. I can see reception improve when using, but how much of an improvement in desolate areas, i dont know.

I saw the OTR whips being used all over SoDak and WY earlier this year which got my interest. Bought mine through a landruiser forum group buy (IH8MUD.com) and will be using it on a trip to Big Bend early next year.

I have one...so so. Helps with strength of signal in a few places, but where you drop calls, you drop calls with or without it.

Thanks for the input guys. Just for this hunt, it would be cheaper to rent a sat. phone I think. Don't really need the booster otherwise.
