West river SD resident hunters

Can some west river resident hunters help a fellow east river hunter out that's never hunted bow hunted out there. Looking for units with good mule deer numbers if that even exists anymore. You can PM me with any info you have. Thanks

Im east river as well and i go when i can for rifle with dad and his buddy. Coworker goes every year for archery. We were just talking the other day. He said the muley numbers are way down and the bucks he did see the last couple years were nothing impressive. Dad went way out west with someone who had a tag and there wasnt anything out there either. The blue tongue hit hard last year. And unfortunately i bet it will probably be another couple years for the population to rise back up and produce better bucks.

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid of that, that's kind of what I've been hearing anyway. Might just have to wing it and go try somewhere!
