West Texas Aoudad Hunt

I'm heading down Feb. 18, about 100 miles from El Paso. I plan to take clothes for 20 to 80 degrees!

Have killed 3 with a bow. They are a lot like sheep. Don't underestimate what and how far they can see. I always have spotted and caught them moving. I usually had a buddy to help move them to a saddle or rock crevis to shoot from. They are a blast to hunt whenever.

Yep, weather can be all over the place in Texas, especially in February. It WILL be cold in mornings and evenings for sure.
Good luck! West Texas aoudad are amazing animals to hunt. Don’t stop shooting until he’s down!

I was supposed to go last April and unfortunately had to cancel because of covid restrictions. I'm hoping for the chance to reschedule.
