Western Legal conversion

Hey guys any suggestions here would be great. Bought this Thompson Center 50 cal last year for whitetail hunting in Minnesota. I like the gun and harvested a good doe last year at 100 yards. Drew a muzzleloader tag for the West Elk Wilderness in Colorado this September. Looking for suggestions and making it western legal? Sites, powder, lead, etc.

Shouldn't be a real problem for you. You just have to remove the scope put your open sights back on and shoot a full bore bullet. You can still use your 209 ignition setup.

ok thanks, it didn't come with sites, what would you recommend? what do you recommend for a bullet and where to buy?

If your rifle isn't set up for factory sights it could be an interesting conversion. Thor bullets are good and Colorado legal
