Smoked ribs (not family raised) and smoked chicken (raised from scratch, almost).

I am about to go eat some catfish steaks and boiled shrimp. We were going out of town for New Years but the nasty weather here has made us decide to go to local fish place.

Grilled ribeye for me, medium rare. Well done sirloin for my wife and kiddos (abuse of beef, I know). Roasted veggies and some rice. Champagne and cocktails to follow for the adults. Kiddie cocktails for the youngins. And a happy new year to all.

Home grown leg of lamb, red potatoes and carrots. Marinaded 36 hours with olive oil, lime juice and rosemary. Happy new year everyone

The last of the spring bear tenderloin. Slow roasted, salt, pepper, red wine reduction plus roasted carrots and stuffed potatoes with gruyere cheese, home smoked bacon and sage.

Plus found a bottle of red from 2009, that I'd misplaced in my storage for a decade. I figured the end of 2020 met the criteria of a special occasion.
