Since I started shooting a bow:

Age 5-10 - BEAR Compound (FREE)
Age 11-16- Jennings Titan ($175)
Age 17-22- Reflex Express ($375) (Possibly the most accurate bow I ever owned)
Age 23-28 - Matthews LX ($540) (Broke Limb 1 month after ownership)
Age 29-34 Matthews HeliM ($700) (Trashed cam for no reason third time I fired it)
Age 34-Current Matthews Triax ($1000) (No issues thus far)


I killed the most deer with the jennings titan and aluminum arrows.....just saying. I still use that bow to bowfish with and it has the original string....I fired that bow literally over 50,000 times I bet. Those people knew how to make something last. It wasn't the fastest but it was quiet and reliable...still is.

1992-1994 - Old Jennings glass/wood limbs from a pawn shop
1995-1998 - 2 different Oneida bows, 1 used one new
1999-1999 - Golden Eagle, limb exploded after 6 months, made great firewood
1999-2019 - Parker Force Multiplier, stacked a lot of meat with this bow, never a complaint or failure
2019-present - Hoyt Carbon 3 (my how things have changed LOL)
