I just cut some Victory RIP TKO Elite 250's to try out. Now for some squaring, gluing inserts, and gluing vanes and they'll be ready to go.

I had multiple tears and had the bicep tendon cut and reattached. Also had a bone spur shaved down.

Had the surgery at the end of January and shot 63# that September. It was a little stiff on the first draw of the day, but I made it through fine.

Any ETA when you can start shooting things again and at what draw weight? I was shooting #80 last week before injury
I'd expect to be shooting around early may. Once I hit early April it'll be a race to build muscle my discomfort being the limiting factor. I had the right shoulder done in 2012. I've always shot 63#

Called black gold and then messed around with my bow. Gonna need to reverify my pins but I think setting my 3rd axis and moving my sight closer to my eye are important changes for me to make.

Also had my wife assess my shoulder for SLAP issues. No problems per the YouTube expert I consulted.

Any plans you can share?

Easiest one is a 2x12 with a hole drilled in one end for a 1" piece of pipe. Boat winch on the otherside. Find a winch that has the seatbelt like webbing strap. Always use a safety loop in addition to whatever catch you are using to hold your d-loop. Just a loop of nylon cord will work.

Most expensive one is a hooter shooter.

Absolutely! Used a 2x8,cheap boat wench with some 1/4 inch rope,1/2 inch pipe with floor flange. A piece of 1 inch pex water line works great on the pipe for covering up the iron. Just clamped the diy drawboard to my diy squat rack! A turn buckle with a hook on the end and a safety clasp to keep things from going south. Used the same pipe/flange/water line concept for "j" hooks on the squat rack.

Keep me posted how you like them. How much weight up front?
75gr HIT's and 125's. I have to do that to keep them in that 500gr range I want. Or I could just use 16gr HIT's and 125's and come in at 445gr, but then they'll be flying over 310fps. I don't know yet.......they're probably going to be underspined with all that weight with my draw length and weight. But I'll see if I can get the bow to tune with them first before making them all up the same. I wish Victory made these in a .200 spine, then I could just use the regular HIT's and still keep the weight and speed and pin gaps I want.

Went stumping today and yesterday. Odd shots, carrying ranges, without a rangefinder too. Uphill, downhill, weird stances, through limbs, brush, weeds, grass etc. you name it. Had a blast and found my first shed of the year too. It’s a whopper!
