what do I need

Looking for some advice. I need a lightweight “shell” to go over my puffy for late season whitetail archery hunts. Needs to be camo, fairly quiet, preferably not too expensive, and full zip. Wind or rain repellant and added warmth are not really important though I am not sure you can ever have too many wind layers (I will always be stationary while wearing this and my puffy).

But, if it would double up as a rain jacket for backpack hunts that would be awesome.

so far am thinking something like the cabelas space rain but not sure how noisy it is?

Tough to say but a brushed face rain jacket would be your best bet. Lots of people make em. Killik from Sportsmans isn’t a terrible option. They had a brushed face rain jacket a few years ago. I still have it and it always kept me dry and isn’t super expensive

Space Rain is noisy. Cabela's MTO 50 would be much better.
