Have a new Christensen carbon classic on the way and am starting to think glass. I have a Christensen 308 with a Zeiss HD5 3-15x50 and that has been a pretty good combo.
For the 270 I was thinking of putting a Nightforce NXS 5.5-20x56 that I have sitting on a gun I never shoot. The benefit (besides not costing anything out of pocket) and the draw back is the size/weight of the scope... I will shoot good factory ammo... It will be used for some deer, antelope and hog hunts- day trips where I don't have bed on my back too.
Thoughts? Suggestions? What other options or glass should I look at? Also, any ammunition suggestions are appreciated.
