I have been using a N.Face Blaze 20deg bag for a few years now.. It keeps me plenty warm in the high country through September... It weighs just over 2lbs

I just bought my first bag for backpack style hunting, went with the 15 degree down although i have a feeling it's going to be pretty warm for the end of august even at 10,500 ft....but i wanted to be warm rather than cold. I will see if i need to make an adjustment for next year

The sleeping bag threads the last few days has me rethinking my plans. Whichever bag it ends up being it will be inside a MegaTarp so should be protected from rain.
I originally planned to get a Wm Megalite 30° bag inside a bivy that setup comes in at 3lb 3 oz
Now I am thinking about getting a WM Badger 20° at 2lb 10oz and not use the bivy

The Megalite bag idea was because that bag is small enough to be used for some Bikepacking trips during the summer.

Heck my WM Sequoia 5° comes in at 3lb 7oz just 4oz heavier than the 30° setup
