260 rem 22 in barrel, 41 grains or hybrid 100 v, shoots 3/4 at 100.26 nosler 90 grains of Hodgen us869 at 3490 FPS and holds half moa out to 700 as that’s as far as I’ve tested it,

H4350 using 40.5 grains 3 shot average is aboutb2750 FPS sub MOA to 650. Killed my AZ deer with this exact bullet @600 yards this year

I’ve got a custom 700 with a very, very tight chambered, 1-8 twist pac nor barrel on it. I got obvious pressure signs with that bullet at 42 gr H4350. FWIW, I also got pressure here with the 120 TTSX. Backed it down to 41.7 and pressure signs were faint (ejector wipe) and barely there. Found a happy place at 41.5 gr and the LRX stuffed in .065 off the lands. Shoots about 1/2-3/4 moa at 2690 FPS, 21” bbl.

Honestly don’t know. This year first year using the copper bullets I’ve shot 2 deer black tail and muley both in and out seem to have exit wounds about nickel to quarter size honestly can’t remember. this includes seeing the same bullet inter a shoulder on a desert bighorn out of a 270 zip right through it. But I’ve had great success with accuracy especially long ranges

Thats good to here all of my impact speeds have been above 2000 fps at the target and results have been awesome i was just wondering about that with the slower impact of the 260. Thanks.
