What material is on Kifaru Gunbearer and Mystery Ranch frame joints?

Have a project and think this stuff might be the ticket, but I can't identify it. It's like a rubbery kinda material but looks like there are some fibers in there. Help?

That stuff is pretty spendy compared to 1000D cordura. What's the performance gain that makes it worth it?

Depends on the project. It seems substantially more puncture resistant than 1000d. And it’s stiffer so helps hold shapes, if that’s something you need.
