The two pair of pants I use for all my hunting - from September in the desert through winter chasing upland game - are the Kanabs and the Eddie Bauer Guide Pros. Both fit wonderfully, dry quickly and are quiet. For multi-day hunts I usually opt for the Kanabs just because they will stink less.

Serious answer?

it depends on what kinda hunt you are doing? if your sleeping at the Inn of the Mountain Gods or hiking into the wilderness for a 8-day pack trip..my answer would vary wildly.

I am going to be most likely truck camping. Unless I get there and find the elk to deep. If that happens I will backpack in.

Yes - too hot. I would go with the Kuiu Attacks. That's what I have and what I wear for about 90% of my hunts.
