Take it from someone who already has a collection of shooting bags- just get the pint size GC. I wish I would have started with one, instead of the dozen other bags I bought beforehand.

I snagged a heavy pint sized today...plan is to buy some git lite fill, or make my own, and just swap it out for hunts

Glad to hear everyone like the pint sized...thanks for the rec fellas
Good choice. The only problem is the pint size doesn’t have an easy way to open it up. It’s completely stitched from the factory. I suppose someone with some sewing skills could add a zipper or Velcro on one of the seams. The one I refilled, I stitched back together with braided fishing line.

I have tried a few and recently have just been using a TAB rear bag, it’s compact and light enough I don’t mind carrying it hunting and still allows for the support hand to contact the stock. The hunters wedge from long range only is definitely solid but a little more than what I’d want to backpack in.
