What scope mag for 600 yards ?

Will 10x be enough for game sized targets at 600 yards and groundhogs at 400 or so? Looking at a nxs 2.5-10 for my proof elevation and I think I’m going to order it

I have Leupold 3.5-10x40 scopes on many of my big game rifles. I don’t dial, set it and forget. Shot pie plates and milk jugs to 535 yards. Rock chucks and coyotes at 300 is too easy. Deer and elk at 400 was a snap. Probably could have shot the other stuff farther out, they just weren’t.

10x is plenty. Most people end up way over scoped

1 - 1.5x per 100 yards so a 9x will take you to 600 yards
