I'll be going out for four days. I'm looking to buy a couple of dry bags, one for my food one for my clothes. What size would you recommend, 5L, 10L, or 20L? Thanks in advance.
If you go to the sea to summit website they have suggestions and dimensions for their various dry bags. I just purchased a few and it was helpful. Once you have one in your hand you can gauge what other sizes you need for your other gear.
I use a 20L for my food bag/bear bag. More room then I need for a 5 night trip, but I also throw my stove in as well and figure if somebody else goes with me, there is room for their food too.
There is not much of a weight difference in the sizes, so I just always stuck with the 20L. I would recommend the e-vent ones though. it let's you squeeze the air out and is a nice feature.
