2017 in Montana with the snow during archery season sucked for me. No bugling, had my worst trip by far of the 4 years I've been west.

I'll take the heat - less gear to carry too.

If I’m not seeing animals, give me heat. Being cold and wet and not being able to dry your stuff overnight, having to wake up and put on wet boots, no effing way. Cold I’m not worried about if it’s dry. I’ll take cold over heat in a forecast because usually the hunting is better when it’s cold.
