What to do with older BAR 7mm rem mag barrel

I recently got in my hands older 7mm rem mag bar. Rifle still shoots fine but I almost couln't belive it when I saw the inside of the barrel.

Seems like it has everything, Carbon, copper and (looks like lead) fouling with a sprinkle of pitting for a good measure.

My question is how to proceed with removing of the fouling. Should I even do it? It shoots ok for now, but I'm thinking sooner or later it will need to be cleaned.

Well, I told you there was some slight pitting. :D

But seriously, any ideas on how to proceed. I mean that thing will need a lot of elbow grease I don't care what solvent you use. Would it be better just to leave it alone and come to a natural end or would cleaning it help with the longevity?
