Got 7 pounds of the crap.

Besides 6br and heavies is it a go to powder for anything?

Down to only reloading 243 and 223 these days.

I use a lot of it in my 22-250s........both in benchmatch and predator rifles [62-75 gr bullets] and also in my 9.3x62 [250 gr bullets]. It doesn't seem to be temperature sensitive.

One guy claims he puts Varget on his Wheaties.

Varget is my go to powder in the 308, would have to think it's a decent powder for 243. I might be wrong? Plenty of people use it so it may be good trading stock if nothing else

Works in my 7 08, and my 22-250. I haven't tried it in anything else but I'm sure you can make it work in your guns. You might be surprised.

I have 2 handles of varget that I use for my .243, .204, and, .223. Works great in all of them.

I use it in 22-250 (40gr), 7-08 (120gr), and 30-06 (125gr) with great results

223 75’s and 80’s here. It’s a bit crunchy.

What speed?

I’d be keen to try lever but it’s temp stability scares me a bit on August speed goat hunts. 3 months later it can be 15 below.

Varget is a fine powder. I use it for a 7mm-08 and 140 gr partitions. None of the critters it's waylayed cared much what the temp was.
