I've killed two deer with them. I tend to shoot forward so this setup is much more forgiving.
I hit the shoulder on one deer quartering to and it blew through both sides. The other deer was a double lung that hit rib on both sides. Butter.

My VXR is already spooky quiet and the harpoons that it shoots make it that much quieter.

I've got another project going with a 240 spine Bloodline, 175gr insert and 200gr Grizzlystik Alaskan, 3 2" feathers with a right helical. Should be around 670gr with 28% FOC

Seeing a few guys run the BEA Rampgae. Has anyone tried the FOCOS outsert system with these arrows? Noticed other fellas mentioning various inserts and weights to hit the 490-510 range with that arrow.

Currently running BEA Rampages 300 spine with stock components, 455 TAW. Thinking of having a new dozen built with the FOCOS (depending on some feedback) and finishing up at ~505 grains.

Also considering the Victory VAP TKO elite, finished around 500 grains with the 75 grain insert/outsert. Not entirely sure they’re worth the extra money though.

I’m in the same rough area, I’ll have to give a similar setup a shot

I used Archery Advantage Online to help me with this build, only have two range session with this build. Shot out to 60 yards this morning with pretty good groups.

I’m at same draw length. It sucks because I would like to go heavier but want to stay between 260-280FPS.

Aftermaths I just built should be about 275FPS and 435 grains @ 70#’s. I will bring poundage down in mid November due to cold and still be above 260.
