Where to bear hunt with a bow?

For ***** sake Humboldt county is crawling with bears. Just stay outta the dope patches. Plenty of public land to explore.

I'm getting ready for my first bear hunt in Washington State. I grew up hunting whitetail from a tree stand. Seems like this will be a whole new ball game.

There were a few old apple orchards scattered throughout the National Forests near the Oregon Border. Guy that I hunted with told me they were planted by a Johnny Appleseed type character that wandered through the region. Not sure if any still exist, but they were sure attractive to the bears,
