Where to find a solid “Used” multi day backpack

I am trying to find a great backpack (I.e. Stone Glacier, Exo, MR, Kuiu, Kifaru) something at least 4,000 cubic inches. However I will only use it likely once a year, so I don’t want to spend a boat load on a new one. Bought a new Badlands 2200 last deer season for day hunts and really can’t swing a purchase of a new backpack this year. Craigslist, EBay etc are striking out for me. I’m surprised there are not more platforms for buying used packs. Any insight or advice or suggestions? Thanks!

FB is the big one. Each manufacturer has a following. Coming into hunting season they are going to sell fast even used. Wait times are growing to buy new. What is your budget?

Rokslide Classifieds is a good place to look for used packs. Also try Facebook groups such as "Backcountry Hunters and Gear" and brand-specific backpack groups.

I’ve got a mystery ranch crew cab with a guide lid. Fits 4 days pretty well. I’ve used several times and hauled meat effortlessly. Buying new is spendy but I’d part with mine on a steep discount.

Look at Sierra.com. They have last years Mystery Ranch 50 and 80 packs with the Guidelight frame for $229. They will swap out for any of their other bags with a $25 buckle kit and are capable of carrying 150 lbs.

IMO it’s the best value on the net. Here’s my 50 I bought last week. I can easily get my basic kit and 3-4 days worth of food in it. It’s perfect for me to carry my tree stands here in NJ and do my one week a year elk hunting without breaking the bank. So far I am finding it much more comfortable than my MR Glacier that I used elk hunting last year.

Good luck in whatever you do!
