There's a limit to the helical angle you can achieve with a straight Bitz clamp. The longer the vane and the smaller the arrow diameter, the more difficult it becomes to keep the entire vane in contact while gluing it on with a straight clamp set at an angle. Right/left helical Bitz clamps are curved to follow the contour of the arrow and keep the full length of the vane in contact while gluing it on. Unless you're wanting a helical/offset angle greater than 3° or so, you should be fine with just a straight clamp.Why would a Bitz owner need multiple clamps?
