I'm wondering what the normal temps are in mid to late Sept in Colorado and what sleeping bag would be a better choice 20 degree or 0 degree. I've read a bunch of the posts here via the search feature and I'm leaning toward the 20 degree slick bag.

I agree a 20 should be plenty. My plan is to use a woobie in a bivy sack for September and switch to the 0 slick bag for mid October on. I will say that I am a very warm sleeper.

20. But with that said I have a 0. I can use it in warm weather (just keep it unzipped) or use it when it is colder out.
