Whitetail guy now hunting the wide open spaces

Hey guys, been lurking here for years and finally decided to join in. Can't thank you all enough for the help on gear selection and hunting tips. Long time Wisconsin hunter, been on a couple backcountry trout fishing trips, and chased elk for my first time last fall. I wasn't able to bring anything home, but got into the elk and picked up the sickness. Looking forward to getting to know more of you and thanks for getting me this far!
