Rocking a 2015 elite synergy. Best bow I ever owned! I will never pay to upgrade due to 3 kids, a mortgage, and a western hunting addiction!

I still have me first bow..an early 90s or so hoyt game getter 2 or 3 with steel cables. I swear some day I may try to shoot a whitetail with it.

Still shooting my Mathews Z7 Magnum I bought used (1 year old). It still shoots good, so I can't justify spending $1K on a new one.

I bought a Bowtech Commander brand new in January of 2008, used it until it blew up on me shooting 3d late last summer. It just fit me like a glove and I had great success with it. My current bow is now less than a year old.
I have a 2007 Commander. They aren't speed demons.....even at 32" draw, but they sure are sweet shooting bows.

I'm late to the party, but I'd still be using my 2009 Admiral had my wife not bought me a new boat this last Christmas out of the blue. That thing's a stone cold killer, killed something every year with it as far back as I can remember.

I sold my '07 Commander and it's the one bow I wish I would have hung on to. Smooth as silk, no hand shock, and the quietest bow I've ever been around. I loved that bow. My nephew is shooting it now and it's treated him well.

Found an really old bow my dad bought me in the early 60's. Made by the Louie Marx Toy Company. The bow's string is gone, but all the red suction cups on the arrows still work!

Browning Nomad Deluxe that I bought around 1979 I think. I just loaned it to my Grandson to learn how to shoot.

I’m still hunting with my 2009 BT D350. I bought a new SR6 a little over a year ago and it’s collecting dust because I just cannot let go.

This thread has got me thinking. I bought a brand new Prime Ion in 2015 and I told my wife that it should easily last me 10 years. That was 6 years ago--starting to round the corner on needing a new one honey!!!

Herters recurve, 56", 50# stacks like crazy at 28", bought it mail order when I was a sophomore in high school in 1968. Haven't shot it in many years.

I have one of the first compounds ever made by Allen in the late 60s... I would love to harvest a deer with it someday to honor my uncle and father.

2009 Hoyt, 32" A-A, 7" brace height, 321 IBO, 3.9 lbs. Still my primary hunting bow. (My backup is a 2012 Hoyt, nearly identical). Not much has really changed much since then. (Yes, bows have improved, but it can be a case of diminishing returns.). The newer bows are about 10-20 fps faster, also about 0.1-0.8 lbs heavier. The bow has done it's part every time I have done mine. 12 seasons, 30 big game animals. Seems to be working, I see no reason to change!

My brother owned a bow shop and sold Jennings. I bought the first 2 wheel arrow star hunter and use it every season. Over 40 years old, shoots great.
