For my shooting level I saw no real change with or without one.

I have a little doinker on their now to help in noise reduction. It helps a small amount and the 3 or 4 oz or whatever it weighs is ok to help in the noise.

Quick question kind of as an internal thread here:

For those of you who always use a stab due to accuracy...have you pulled your stabs off and shot for 2-3 months to give it a try and see how things progressed with time? I know that I just pulled mine off one day in a high high sustained wind and just never put it on because I didn't ever see a change but I also know that I do spend more time behind a bow than a lot of guys do.

That's a good point Evan. I have never tried it. I might try it for next fall. I've only done it just for a short time and then threw the stabilizer back on. Might try shooting without a stab for awhile.

I took mine off recently just to try it out, I didn't notice any difference at all. Then again I am new to the sport and am probly not good enough to notice any small difference it would make
