All I have been digging and digging looking for a boot. Currently run Hanwag Alaska and they are awesome but looking for more lightweight boot. I have never had an issue with any boot and my feet ( even under weight) and I have ran danners, scarpa, hanwag, Vasquez,TNF, rocky, etc. Guess I am just lucky compared to some of the horror stories I read on here.

Boot requirements:

Weight less than 1.25lbs per boot
Prefer leather but would do synthetic
At least a partial rand
Goretex
Last couple years based on multiple uses per week

Some options I have found is:

Salewa mountain trainer
Scarpa zodiac
Garmont Vetta
Crispi crossover

Are there any others you all would recommend?

Thank you for your feedback and God Bless.

Sounds a lot like my Lowa Renegade Mids. They would be close to your weight limit depending on size.

They have been fantastic for me. I have the blue Superfeet insoles in them. They are easy on my feet. Just the right balance of flex and rigidness. The waterproofing is still intact. I plan on getting another pair when these wear out.

Update. Went with the Lowa Irox and these boots are awesome. Comfortable right out of the box, lightweight, a little warmer than I wanted. But very happy with them. Also got them cheap off of campsaver.
