Did you use a long action or short action? I wish winchester would bring back the left hand model 70, based on used prices they would make a killing.
Long action. Yeah, sure wish they would come back!

.275 Rigby aka (7x57). Wonderful to carry, shoots every load I’ve tried between .70 and .80. What’s not to like!

I’ve got this Ruger 7x57 M77 with tang safety that I’m trying to selling on Utah Gun exchange. Just don’t use it enough

It is indeed a 3 position safety but I am not sure if it is by Gentry. There are 2 builders names on the barrel. A. Dees and R. Hanson. Alan Dees was a gunmaker out of Havre Montana and at one time hand built violins before moving on to gun work. Never have been able to find much about R. Hanson. Leupold QR rings and bases have been color case hardened along with the safety and floor plate. Skeleton butt plate has also been color cased along with the forend tip. Quarter rib with 2 folding leaves regulated for 100 and 200 yards though I have never tested the regulation. Double set triggers, exhibition English.
