Wide sole, flat heel ??

Looking for a boot with a wide sole and fairly flat heel/minimalist style. I hike in vibrams and minimalist shoes and am starting to really dislike how bound my toes get in my mountain boots (hanwag AK gtxs) . I find I'm wanting to spread my toes more and walk more on a forefoot/ball vs the classic heel strike. Any suggestions ?
