Wife and daughter drew first tag

So they drew their first elk tag, Wyoming area 11. I know the area but not sure where to hunt their tag. They got cow/calf area 11 type 6. Season starts Aug 15th. We will be there Aug 15 but idk Elk much. Only hunted myself Elk general one year. And help with tips and info will be greatly taken. Trying to get at least one of them their first elk, they can fight over who shoots lol. Thinking of one of those 2 pins i dropped. One has water, but that may be dried up by Aug 15th.
