Just a rough guess and eyeballing the pictures it sure looks like the cow could have been pushing 500 pounds after being dressed out. My father and his brother in law shot an old cow one day that they estimated at the game check station at 20 years old. I do not remember the exact weight after being dressed out because it's been so long ago now, but he weighed the cow after he got her home on a scales and she was over 600 pounds.
