Win. Model 70 experts SG build date/Value

I have a Model 70 Super Grade .270 with the Serial # G22830 and can't find the build date, think it's mid 90's but not sure?
Also with a Leupold Vari x ii 3-9 scope, gun and scope in excellent condition, what do you think it's worth?

I’d call Winchester.

Serial range you provided should be 90s and typically very good quality. Winchester also built custom shop models on those numbers that could be anywhere in the range until Winchester New Haven closed. The only thing throwing me for a loop is the stainless extractor which I wouldn’t have expected to see on that rifle. With the scope and in good condition price would likely sell around $1200. Rifles like that have sold for north of $1500 but the market is very soft right now. I’ve seen similar rifles also sell for $900. So $900-$1500.

The early super grades came without the ebony nose cap so I’m thinking early 90’s if original. Has the butt pad been replaced? That one looks too good for the vintage.
