Would a W&W Black Wolf be ok to get back into trad? I like the look and reviews other than gripes about grip; haven't touched one or any other for that matter, I'm out in the sticks here.

Was thinking of getting a used one with 50# limbs but buying some 25 to 30 lb limbs to learn proper form with. My thinking is start with the same riser I'll eventually hunt with.

Thanks,

Chris

Feel like I wasted bandwidth with this thread/question. I've answered my own question after reading the 10,000+ other "what bow for beginner" posts on the intertube.

Thanks,

Sorry man.. I just saw this.. I had one of these.. I got rid of it, but for no real reason.. I shot fine, wasn’t cold, and felt good. Any riser would be good to get back into shooting..what’s your DL?

I believe tradtech made a riser called LOBO.. same thing I believe..

I shoot a metal riser now.. high voltage electrical rubber tape on grip to keep the thermal discomfort low.. the black wolfs risers are kinda high, the lobo you can find cheaper I’m sure..
