WTS Winchester A5 scope

So going through some of my grandads things after he passed away and came across this scope in the back on his safe. Can not seem to dig up alot of info on it other than it was used alot on on the old Springfield 03 during the war. Only have found a couple on gunbroker for $1200-$1500 and neither seemed in a nice of shape. Was thinking $1000 shipped to lower 48. If anyone has more info on these feel free to share.
