Brand new Winchester model 70 super grade, 300 win mag. Looking for around 1500. Gun is brand new, never been shot, I do not have to original box for it. Located in Wisconsin, will meet, I’m not sure how to ship this.

Shipping is ridiculously easy and will give you access to a lot more potential buyers. Either get a box from a gun store or buy one of the cheap plastic hard cases. I use brown shipping paper to cover the box or the hard case. Have the buyer send you a copy of the FFL they want it shipped to and you’re good to go. You can ship it via UPS or USPS. FedEx will ship but they can suck it. If you ship it USPS you are supposed to declare you’re shipping a rifle but I have a friend that doesn’t tell them what it is and according to him he has never had any problems. They don’t put any different label or stickers on the box because because there is a rifle inside. Insure it if the buyer wants it and ask for signature confirmation. Shipping will most likely cost between $45 and $60 in the lower 48. Good luck with your sale.

I had my ffl ship a rifle across the country to another ffl. He charged me $50. I feele that as a bargain since he packaged it and paid the shipping cost all for that 50, and ensured to me that the shipment was secure and legal.
