My wife and I found a spot that's relatively close to our house and not a horrible hike to get into. I originally found this spot hoping it would produce some turkeys, but unfortunately haven't seen any turkeys or sign of turkey. I picked up a trail cam and have been back a few times to check it out. Since first putting setting up the cam in March, pictures of 7 different species have shown up- elk, mule deer, black bear, moose, mountain lion, coyote and bobcat.

Unfortunately I don't have a tag to hunt this unit this year, but I'm going to keep an eye on it over the fall and see about drawing next year. I know everything in velvet looks bigger, but this bull looks like he could grow into a stud-

Looks like at least a 6x6. Nice pics! Hope you get more you can share! And I hope you get a tag next year!

Hope you draw a tag next year. Honest hunting pays off in the end!

That's awesome that you live that close and can see them all the time, even if you can't hunt them. I wish I didn't have to drive 20 hours when I do have a tag to get to them!! Haha
