Within 60 Yards of a Big Buck on the Ground Scouting Whitetails!

So my question is for guys that hunt a lot of public land. If you bump deer in the summertime, how much do you worry about "educating them" for hunting season.

My personal opinion about this video, is we hardly bumped the deer, knowing he didn't bolt as fast as he could... he flicked his tail and trotted off. I also believe that the buck seen in this video would not think twice about pressure a week after we filmed this and were out there (Mid July).

Give me your thoughts on why you think deer would or wouldn't get educated from an encounter like this...

I would think you educated him. Except in the opposite way. He saw humans and didn't get shot at
This area is archery only, has planted crop field from farmers, and has people walking and taking photos year round... I would think he's used to this by now.

He'll be "used to it" until 11:59 pm on night before the opener. Good Luck!!
