I took the family to Adirondacks this week. We did around 20 miles with 5,000' of gain and lots of scrambling in three and a half days, bagging five high peaks (upper wolfjaw, armstrong, gothics, saddleback, and basin.) Rainy weather the last day made us decide not to climb Mt. Marcy, but we still had a great family adventure. My pack started out at 65# and finished at 47#. DSC01438.JPG DSC01484.JPG DSC01472.JPG

A buddy and I competed in a CrossFit competition that my home gym put on this weekend. We did 6 partner workouts between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. It was a tough challenge in the 95 degree heat but really fun at the same time.

^ take the day off, you’ve earned it :D

I was up at 4:00 but the air quality was very poor (smoke) so had to pass on the trails :(
I tried to redeem myself a little at work with no hike this morning 5-ish miles and 48 flights of stairs, not trail miles, but miles anyways
