Wolves quiet

My neck of woods the wolves been pretty quiet. One got trapped recently. Hunting been tough this year. Anyone else noticed the same in your areas.

I think the game is changing.

Also is anyone using thermal image for hunting wolf

Very quiet in NC lol. I wish I lived close enough to them to hear one. Or at least close enough so that I could drive easily to hear one.

I haven't been out as much as I would have like to, but planning to hit it hard in the next month or so. Where is your "neck of the woods" @Deadfall ?

I've pulled my wolf gear for now. Will be waiting on them to move back in before getting back at it hardcore like I was. It's expensive and time consuming running a wolf line. I haven't seen any fresh sign since first of December, not long after I trapped one out of the pack. They have a den site up that drainage so I know they'll be coming back in the next couple of months. Just gotta keep the faith, this is the dead period for wolf activity.
