I know it's a long shot....but I'm hoping to pick this pack up. I missed the 30% off sale, but if I can get it for the right price, I'd love to try it. I have a few hesitations, but it seems like a reasonable priced 'day pack' that can haul meat.
I have an Outdoorsmans Optics pack and a Metcalf. Both are great in the right circumstances. I hate the way the lid to the Metcalf flops around when the pack isn't full, but I like having at least one exterior, easy to access pocket. The Optics pack is awesome, but I wish it were designed with an easy to use meat shelf. The Crestone seems to answer both of these issues.
