This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a small mark near the front of the frame on the left side and a small mark on the right side of the slide just behind the muzzle. The flat sides of the decocker show light handling marks and the raised areas of the markings on the right side of the frame show thinning. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition. This handgun has a hammer decocker that also functions as a slide release. The action functions correctly. i did not fire this handgun. The left side of the slide is marked “152212”, with the Walther “Banner” logo, and “P5 COMPACT”. The left side of the frame is marked “152212”. The takedown lever is marked with a four pointed star. The right side of the slide is marked “Interarms Alexandria Va.”, “Made In Germany” and with an “Eagle over N” proof. The front underside of the barrel is marked with the Walther “Banner” logo, “9mmx19” and “52212”. The right side of the frame is marked with an “Eagle over N” proof, the Ulm proof and the date code “KB”. Traditional Double Action Semi-Automatic with 8-Round Removable Magazine. The front sight is a blade with a white dot. The rear sight has a square notched flat top with a single white square dot, and is dovetailed into the slide. It is also adjustable for windage via an adjustment screw. The top of the slide is serrated with a matte finish to reduce glare. The grips are black checkered plastic. The grips show only one or two light handling marks. The checkering is without flaws. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition. Blue Steel Slide and Matte Black Finish on the Alloy Frame. The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is slight fouling but no erosion in the bore.
